In 1993, His self belief, bravery and determination made him walk in to open the innings, on a green top at the Chinaswamy Stadium, Bangalore against 3 of the fastest bowlers in India at that time, Javagal Srinath, David Johnson & Venkatesh Prasad, refusing to wear a helmet to motivate his colleagues that the Goa Team could stand up against the strong Karnataka side in the Ranji Trophy. In 1992, he played a swash buckling innings of 41 in 42 balls against the same Karnataka side in the Ranji Trophy hitting the India bowlers for 7 Fours and One six off Venkatesh Prasad.

In 1989, Mr Jude Cardozo was part of the best ever performance by a Goa University team defeating Bundelkand University, Jhansi, Baroda University and Pune University before succumbing to Jaipur University in the semi finals.

Mr Jude Cardozo represented India in the 4th International Games Festival in Guarda, Portugal from 5th to 10th September 1990, 18 countries participated in this event. The India delegation was selected by www.intach.org. Mrs Pupul Jayakar was the Executive Chairperson and the Secretariat consisted of Mr B K Thapar & Mr Martand Singh. Mr Mario Miranda, the famous artist from Goa & Ms Geeta Iyer were in charge of the Goa Chapter at that time. Mr Jude Cardozo has 10 years experience in the corporate world after working in companies like www.parleagro.com, Plus Channel, & www.tajhotels.com.

Mr Jude Cardozo was appointed as a 'Area Sales Executive' for Parle Bailley Mineral Water and within a month was promoted as the 'Area Sales Manager' of Goa and oversaw the entire sales & distribution in Goa through 4 distributors and a retail network of over 800 outlets and was instrumental in carving out a sizeable market share for Parle Bailley soon after their launch.

While in Plus Channel, as Operations Manager Mr Jude Cardozo was involved in organising in house events and launches for Plus Channel, Plus Music etc. Plus Events managed events for clients like HSBC, Mastek, Shaw Wallace, Southern Comfort, MTV, Tetrapak among others. At the NASSCOM IT trade fair in December 1996 in Delhi, 600 companies from all over Asia participated and The Mastek Stall, designed by Art Director, Sameer Chanda and executed by Mr Jude Cardozo, Mr Kamaljeet Singh & Chaya Vaidhya was awarded the prize for the 'Most Innovative Stall'. Mr Jude Cardozo, was part of the launch of the events organised to launch Club MTV & MTV U in 1997 in India.

In 1999, Mr Jude Cardozo was appointed as the First Ever Activity Manager of the Taj Group of Hotels at Taj Exotica, Goa. His brief was to change the concept of entertainment & leisure activities at the resort which he did with remarkable creativity in spite of obstacles and hard wired mind sets. Mr Jude Cardozo curated leisure activities for the various segments (FFIT, DFIT, Domestic Packages and Conference segment which were ground breaking, at that time, in the Hotel Industry resulting in all resorts in Goa and India replicating the ideas. Mr Jude Cardozo redesigned the Golf Course at the Taj Exotica creating a wonderful 9 Hole Pitch & Putt Green and was later asked to design a 9 Hole Putting Green at the Taj Green Cove in Kovalam, Kerala.

Mr Jude Cardozo is a founder member of Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (Goa Chapter) and was part of the organising team which launched the Chapter in Goa in October 2021 and anchored the event. Hon Chief Minister of Goa Dr Pramod Sawant was the Chief Guest.

Mr Jude Cardozo organised 'Razzmatazz' An all India Inter Collegiate Dance & Beauty Contest from 1989 to 1997. In 1997, 110 colleges from Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkota, Delhi & Goa participated in the Dance Contest while over 105 contestants participated in the beauty contest. Mr Jude Cardozo ensured participation by personally visiting more than 150 colleges from all over India. (Remember Internet/email/mobiles were yet to kick off among the masses at that time).
